MMORPG Beginner's Guide: Your First Hours in Kuzark
For someone new to MMORPGs, the first hours are both exciting and confusing. This guide walks you through what to focus on in Kuzark from your first session.
1. Install and account
Download for free from the home page and run the installer. Windows may show a blue warning for new games: press "More info", then "Run anyway". Create your account and confirm it by email. The game updates itself.
2. Race and class
Your account belongs to one race: Human or Monster. If you play with friends, choose the same race. If you cannot decide on a class, see the class guide; the easiest class for beginners is the Warrior.
3. Controls
- WASD or left click: walk.
- Click an enemy: select. Click again or Space: attack.
- 1–9, 0: your skills. F1 / F2: health and mana potions.
- Right click + drag: turn the camera.
Every shortcut can be changed under Settings > Shortcuts.
4. First quests and level 5
Follow the quests in the starting area; they give experience and your first gear. At level 5 you choose your path. It decides which six skills you use, so read the skill descriptions before you decide.
5. Join a party
Parties in Kuzark hold 8 players and each extra member gives +15% experience; Silver is split evenly. From the party window you can post a title to find members or join others with one click. More on clans and parties in the clan guide.
6. Upgrade your gear
At the blacksmith you can upgrade gear up to +8. Upgrades can fail, so practice on cheap items first. High-plus armor glows.
7. Learn a profession
Woodcutting, mining, herbalism, crafting, alchemy and fishing let you progress outside combat. Make your own weapon and sell the rest at the Silver Bazaar.
8. Know the rules
Cheats and helper software are banned, and the team will never ask for your password. Read the game rules once.
