Map rework, graphics settings and weekly rewards
The maps have been reworked, graphics settings renewed and the game runs smoother. The top players of the weekly ranking now receive gifts by letter.
- Kut Yurduruined walls around the Old Outpost, rows of gravestones in the Bone Graveyard, small reedy ponds in the Reed Marsh and Reedy Pond, rocky hills on the Rocky Ridge and Stone Hill, red rock spires at the Red Rocks. The mound behind the Forgotten Grave has a stone tomb entrance.
- Also in Kut Yurdua ruined watchtower and standing stones on the southern hills, an abandoned woodcutter camp, a hunter camp and a fishing pier reaching into the river.
- Race castlesthe rocky mouth of the Yeti Cave, golem quarries, orc war camps, a graveyard, ruined forts and rocky hills in the corners.
- Kirgin Plainrocky hills in all four corners, burnt trees in the Burnt Village, dark trees in the Ghost Mist and the Dead Valley.
- Map edgesjagged mountain ridges with pine forest on their slopes instead of the box-like mountains. Withered trees along the edge of the Kirgin Plain.
- MapClumps of grass, flowers and clover on the ground; giant mushrooms in the mushroom groves; withered trees in the marshes and spider nests. Camp props (weapon stands, barrels, crates, banners, training dummies) were renewed.
- GraphicsThe Settings window was reorganized (Graphics, Display, Sound, Interface). Four presets (Low, Medium, High, Very High) plus separate resolution scale, shadows, texture quality, texture filtering, view distance, object detail, grass, character view distance, anti-aliasing and frame rate limit. On first launch the game picks the setting that suits your computer as "Recommended".
- PerformanceFPS is clearly higher in crowded places and in Kut Yurdu; trees, rocks and scenery are drawn with far fewer draw calls, NPCs, monsters and armored players are drawn as a single piece instead of many parts, static buildings are no longer recalculated every frame, distant monsters and players are no longer processed needlessly, and shadows are more efficient.
- FixIn some places (especially after teleporting or changing zones) the ground looked white, or pitch black in Albasti's Lair, and shadows disappeared; fixed.
- FixClicking the map or walking with "Go there" briefly froze the game while the route was calculated; routes are now calculated in the background.
- NewLetters. When you receive a letter an envelope appears at the top left; open it and claim the attached gift.
- NewWeekly rewards. When War Points reset every Monday, first place receives Premium (7 days) and boosts, 2nd-5th place smaller gifts, and the player who spent the most time in the game that week a separate gift, all by letter.
- FixThe Mage held the staff upside down; the staff is now upright and the skull faces forward.
